HOW TO SEND A PACKAGE TO A COUNTRY OUTSIDE THE EU?

There are many who get a surprise when they first send shipping to Norway. The country is so close, and yet it is the same requirement as when sending a package to New Zealand. It is therefore important that you are well prepared, so how do you send a package to Norway - or New Zealand?

There are three things that require special attention:

1. Customs and VAT

We save you the fee

When you send goods to Norway or other countries outside the EU, the shipment must be cleared. It is usually the shipping company that "has a physical package" to explain your package and it gives the company the right to charge a fee for the work they do. Postnord, for example, charges a customs duty of SEK 160. When you send with Paket.se saves money, which we see customs clearance as a service. However, be aware that you, as the sender, are responsible for any customs fees and VAT on posting. It may therefore be a good idea to check it before sending packages.

2. Customs documents

We have made it easy for you

A game requires that there is a customs document with the package. Once you have booked your shipment to Norway, we have established a template in your order under "my pages" - here simply fill in the blanks, so we automatically fill in everything else. Remember that the purpose of the customs document is to give customs officials the opportunity to relate to your package must be imported without having to stop to open it, so if you want to get your package to Norway without customs delays, it is important that you are correct in your description of what you send.
